Mission, Vision & Plan

Many people with disabilities in Malaysia suffer not so much from the pain of their disability as from the pain of society’s rejection when even their very basic need for a home has been denied them.

Mission

To assist people with intellectual disabilities to find their permanent home where they can have a quality of life that encompasses companionship, the feeling of belongingness, self acceptance, meaningful activities and work.

Vision

To see people with intellectual disabilities living together as a family so that each may complement and help the other to live a meaningful and productive life in dignity and with self-respect.

To see them working as one family, towards becoming self-supportive and independent of charity as far as possible.

Plan

We plan to set up little Siloam homes in many localities, so that every person with disabilities can have a choice of a place to belong.
